Chapter 36 - Carolina Coast

A little more than a year ago now, we got to meet a wonderful, new to us, Southern writer - T.I. Lowe. Tonya is a local author, living in Loris and growing up in the area. I don't remember exactly how I found out about her. I remember a customer called and asked if we had any of her books (she has written 16). At that point I contacted her for a Meet and Greet and she told me that she had a traditionally published book coming out in April - Lulu's Cafe. I read it and I was hooked.

Since that time she has had three additional books published and another one is due out in the spring. Her stories are heartfelt Southern books about relationships and about people trying to find their true selves even if they have been knocked about by life. Her books are described below.

We recently hosted Tonya at an appropriately social distanced event. If you missed any of her books you can find them at our store. If you haven't met Tonya, we will have her back sometime before Christmas. In the meantime, come in and get one of her books! I know you will love her as we do!

Lulu's Cafe'

On the run from an abusive husband, Leah Allen finds herself in Rivertown, SC. She meets Lulu, the owner of the local cafe' who helps her get back on her feet and grow into the woman she was meant to be.

Beach Haven

Opal Gilbert, the owner of a reclaimed furniture store in Sunset Cove, meets her match in Lincoln, a war weary ex-Marine. She offers him a job which he declines until a hurricane pulls them together.

Driftwood Dreams

Josie Slater works for her father in Sunset Cove's diner. The death of her mother years before has made Josie fearful of loving anyone that much again. Can the town artist and Josie's longtime friend, August, convince her that everyone needs a second chance to follow their dreams?

Sea Glass Castle

Sophia Prescott is recovering from a terrible divorce. She has returned to Sunset Cove with her small son to be near family and friends. A embarrassing encounter with the town's new pediatrician has her spitting fire until he makes her an intriguing offer.
